AU4 Round 3 Hits Philip Island in Victoria

Following his impressive Round 2 victory at Tailem Bend, Isaac McNeill heads to Phillip Island with confidence and momentum firmly on his side. The young Queensland driver has quickly established himself as a standout in the Motorsport Australia AU4 Championship, combining race-winning speed with the consistency needed to challenge for the title.

The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, with its sweeping high-speed corners and stunning coastal backdrop, is one of the most demanding tracks on the calendar. On August 16–17, Isaac will once again take the wheel of his Tatuus F4-T421 (Gen 2), competing in the National Championship class against some of the country’s top emerging talent. The Gen 1 cars will contest the Junior Cup, with both classes sharing the track in the championship’s new split-grid format.

This season marks the first under the AU4 Championship’s new structure, with five rounds in total — two at The Bend Motorsport Park, one at Phillip Island, and two at Sydney Motorsport Park. For Isaac, every round is an opportunity to strengthen his position in the standings, and Phillip Island’s fast, flowing nature will demand precision, courage, and racecraft at the highest level.

Isaac’s Round 2 campaign demonstrated his ability to perform under pressure, with two race wins and a podium finish securing the overall victory. Building on that result, he and the Volante Rosso team have been working tirelessly to extract even more performance, determined to push the limits and challenge for another round win.

As the AU4 Championship moves into its third round, all eyes will be on Phillip Island to see if Isaac can continue his charge towards the championship.
